the

Artificers
and
tradesmen
must
be
nourished
and
cherished

for
without
Artificers
and
tradesmen
a
common-wealth
cannot
flourish
nor
endure
:

therefore
the
Magistrate
must
specially
regard
them
and
respect
them
,
and
they
must
so
carrie
themselues
that
they
may
be
respected
and
cherished
of
the
Magistrate

required
at
their
hands
that
they
be
faithfull

painefull

and
honest
in
their
callings

for
if
they
be
thus
qualified

the
countrie
itselfe
will
make
them
rich

trade
hath
his
mystery
,
which
is
for
the
most
part
grounded
vpon
deceit
and
fraud

seeing
the
beginning

a
common
wealth
is
now
attempted

foundation
must
not
bee
laid
vpon
fraud

deceit

for
there
can
no
good

beginning

concord
and

defence

walles
