WHereas
her
Maiestie
hath
bene
credibly
informed
,
that
notwithstanding
there
is
great
plenty
of
Woolls
within
this
Realme
,
whereby
the
same
ought
to
be
solde
at
conuenient
and
reasonable
prices
,
and
neuerthelesse
by
the
greedy
desires
of
the
great
Woollgrowers
,
who
keepe
the
same
in
their
hands
contrary
to
the
Statute
made
in
the
fift
yeere
of
the
Raigne
of
king
Edward
the
sixt
,
and
by
the
corrupt
practises
of
diuers
Broggers
,
Ingrossers
,
Woolgatherers
and
Regraters
of
Woolls
,
buying
and
selling
great
quantities
of
Wooll
vnwrought
,
contrary
to
the
saide
Statute
,
And
after
by
the
meanes
of
these
Broggers
the
Woolls
are
conueyed
to
the
Sea
coasts
,
and
from
thence
conueied
out
of
this
Realme
,
whereby
many
the
Clothiers
of
this
Realme
want
Woolls
to
set
themselues
,
&
such
as
depend
vpon
that
Trade
in
worke
,
to
the
great
prcindice
and
hinderance
of
her
Maiesties
good
and
louing
Subiects
,
and
consequently
to
the
generall
harme
of
the
Realme
,
the
number
of
these
Broggers
,
Ingrossers
and
woolgatherers
being
growen
to
so
excessine
a
multitude
:

all

Officers

cuery
of
you
to
whom
it
may
appertaine

or
within
whose
Liberties
it
shall
happen
,
to
call
all
such
persons
before
you
,
as
shall
from
time
to
time
be
complained
of
vnto
you
,
to
haue
bought
,
sould
,
offered
to
sell
or
transport
any
maner
of
Woolls
contrary
to
the
said
Statute
,
or
shall
contemptuously
abuse
,
or
any
wayes
withstand
any
that
are
of
shal
be
lawfully
licensed
to
buy
and
sell
Wools
,
notwithstanding
the
said
Statute
,
their
Deputies
or
Seruants
,
and
them
and
euery
of
them
(
as
they
shall
bee
brought
before
you
or
any
of
you
)
by
vertue
of
these
our
Letters
,
and
the
place
you
serue
in
,
straightly
to
examine
,
and
if
any
person
or
persons
be
found
culpable
therein
,
then
to
binde
all
such
to
their
good
behauiors
,
vulesse
they
shall
desist
from
such
their
dealings
,
&
conforme
themselues
to
her
Maiesties
Lawes
,
and
withall
to
certifie

Maiesties
Attorney
generall
of
the
names
of
euery
such
offendors

that
shall
not
so
conforme
himselfe
