VPON the hearing of the Cause in controuersie betweene Matthew de Quaestor Esquire , Post-Master of England for forreine Seruices , and Henry Billingsley , who pretendeth to be admitted by the Lord Stanhop His MAIESTIES Post-Master Generall , by a grant vnder his hand and Seale , vpon Suite made vnto his Lordship , by the Company of Merchants Aduenturers , for the transporting and importing of Letters into , and from forreine parts , from and into the Citie of London ; the allegations of both parties hauing beene fully heard and considered , It was ordered , that the said Henry Billingsley shall not from hencefoorth meddle in any sort with the transporting or importing of any more Letters , to , or from any forreine parts without His MAIESTIES Domi●●ons , as being directly against a grant and Proclamation 〈◊〉 the late King , vntill the Cause be clearely determined in law and brought to a Iudgement ; and accordingly hee was expresly commanded to obey this Order , as he will answere the contrary at his vttermost perill .
