AN ORDINANCE Of Explanation touching the Jurisdiction of the Court of Admiralty .

BEe it Declared and Ordeined by His Highness the Lord Protector , by and with the consent of His Council , That so much of the Act of Parlament of the second of April , One thousand six hundred fiftie one ; Entituled , An Act for the continuing of the Jurisdiction of the Court of Admiraltie , as to so much thereof as concerns the setling and continuing of the Iurisdiction of the said Court , according to former Acts and Ordinances of Parlament , bee , and is hereby Declared to bee , and at all times since the Twefth of April , Anno Dom. One thousand six hundred fiftie and one , to have been continued of full force and virtue , according to the words contained therein , and the same shall so continue and bee , and shall bee so in all Courts adjudged to bee continued , and of full force and virtue , until further order shall bee taken to the contrarie ; and that all proceedings in the said Court of Admiraltie , since the Thirtieth of March last , or hereafter to bee had , according to the said Act of April , One thousand six hundred fiftie one , shall stand good , firm , and valid in Law to all intents and purposes whatsoever , and bee so adjudged , construed and taken , any thing to the contrarie notwithstanding .
