THat no Forces shall be Raised , but by Authority of this Present Parliament : And , That all such Forces as have been , or shall bee Raised without Authority of Parliament , be forthwith disbanded , provided that this Vote Extend not to any the Forces raised by General Monck .

Thursday , December 29. 1659. Ordered by the Parliament ,

THat it be Referred to the Commissioners for Management of the Army , to dispose of the Militia Forces , and of all other Forces which have been Raised without Authority of Parliament , as they shall see Cause , either by imploying , or disbanding them , with Power to dispose of their Armes to the several Counties , and Publique Magazines from whence they were taken .
