WHereas on Humble Address hath been m●● unto Vs by Our Commons Assembled in Parliament , That We by Our Proclamation would please to Promise a Reward of Fi●e thousand Pounds to such Person or Persons who shal Bring in t●● Person of James Duke of Monmouth Alive or Dead ; And whereas the said James Duke of Monmouth stands Attainted ●f High Treason by Act of Parliment ; We do her●by , by the A●vice of Our Privy Council , Publish and Declare Our Royal Pr●mise , and Our Will and Pleasure , That whosoever shall Bring in ●he Body of the said James Duke of Monmouth , either Dead or Alive , shall Recei●● and Have the Reward of Fi●● thousand Pounds , to be forthwith Payed by Our Hig● Treasures of England , for ●●ch his or their Service .
