WE the Lords and others of His Majesties Privy Council , with the Noblemen , Gentlemen , and others Undersubscribing , Considering that there has been a Horrid and Detestable Conspiracy Formed and Carried on by Papists and other Wicked and Traiterous Persons , for Assassinating His Majesties Sacred Person , in Order to Usher in , and Facilitat a Formidable and Cruel Invasion from France , to the Ruine and Extirpation of Our Religion , Laws and Liberties : Do Therefore , Heartily , Sincerely and Solemnly Profess , Testifie and Declare , that his present Majesty KING WILLIAM , is Rightful and Lawful King of this Realm ; And we do mutually Promise , and Solemnly Engage and Oblige our Selves , to Stand by , and Assist one another to the outmost of our Power in the Support and Defence of his Majesties most Sacred Person and Government , and of the true Protestant Religion , against the late King James , and the pretended Prince of Scotland , commonly called the pretended Prince of Wales , and all their Adherents , and against all Forreign Invasions , or Intestine Insurrections that shall be Attempted or made to Disturb His Majesties Right and Possession ; and in case His Majesty come to any violent or untimely Death , ( which God of his infinite Mercy Avert ) We do hereby further Freely and unanimously oblige our Selves to Unite , Associat , and Stand by each other in Revenging the same upon all His Majesties Enemies and their Adherents , and in Supporting and Defending the Succession of the Crown , according to the Declaration of the Estates of this Kingdom .

THe Lords of His Majesties Privy Council do hereby Allow the above Association Subscribed by their Lordships this Day to be Printed and publictly Sold , and Appoints the said Association when Signed by any other Persons , to bear this Title , BOND of ASSOCIATION
