The Contrivance of these Cards is so plain and perspicuous , that the use of them in all our English Games , as of common playing Cards , is to be shewn in few words .

THe four Suits are the four Parts of the World ; and not without some Reason or Analogy , the Hearts describe Europe , the Diamonds Asia , the Spades Africa , and the Clubs America or the West-Indies .

Each Ace divides a Quarter of the World into its known and General Division , and shews its Latitude and Longitude ; the other Cards of the same Suit subdivide those Countries into their more exact and usual Parts , giving the Names of the chief Places , and shewing the Latitude and Longitude of the Country to which the Card belongs .

All the Coat-Cards ( as Kings , Queens and Knaves ) are reduced to ten Heads or Divisions .

All the other Cards without any force contain precisely that number of Kingdoms , Countries , Provinces and other Divisions , which gives the Name to the Card .

The General and Particular Divisions , with the Latitude and Longitude of Countries are the same as in the Maps of the Sieur Sanson that modern , famous and allowed French Geographer .

The great and infinite Benefit of obtaining and retaining a System of Universal Geography so easily , pleasantly and familiarity is so apparent as not to need any Argument or Persuasion .
