BY THE Lords-Justices AND COUNCIL , A PROCLAMATION . CHARLES PORTER , THO : CONINGEBBY .

WHEREAS We have received information that William White of the City of Cork Merchant was on or about the 26th day of October last past most barbarously murther'd , within a mile of the said City of Corke , and none of the Murderers as yet apprehended or known . We in detestation of the said barbarous Murther and to the end that some of those concerned therein , should be brought to condign punishment do think fit hereby to Declare , that if any Person shall discover and apprehend the persons that had a hand , and were Actors in the said Murther , and convict or cause to be apprehended and convicted , all or any of the Murderers , that he that shall apprehended and convicted all or any of them , as a reward for his said service , shall receive the summ of Forty Pounds to be paid him , by the present Mayor of Corke upon the conviction of any of the Person or Persons guilty of the said Murther , and if any of the Persons that had a hand in the said Murther , shall discover apprehend and convict all or any of the Persons that were Actors in the said Murther , he shall not only be Pardoned but receive the aforesaid reward , of Forty Pound to be paid him in manner aforesaid .
