BY THE LORDS JUSTICES OF IRELAND Sydney , Tho . Coningsby .

WHEREAS the Wives Children and Familys , of severall persons in this Kingdom ; who have been Killed in Actuall Rebellion against their Majestys or are now adhering to the Enemyes in their Quarters or are Fled from the usuall Places of their Abode , continue in that part of this Kingdom , which is obedient to their Majestys Goverment , and as we are certainly Informed , give constant Intelligence to , and holde Corespondence with , their Majestys said Enemys . These are Strictly to Will and Command , the Wives Children and servants , of all such Persons forthwith to withdraw themselves out of all Places under their Majestys obedience , upon Payne to be proceeded against as Spyes , and Enemys . and all High Sheriffes with the assistance of the Justices of Peace and Officers of their Majestys Militia , are hereby commanded to make immediate Search for such Persons in their several Countys , and to aprehend their Persons , and to conduct them to the next adjacent county to the River Shannon , where they are to give notice to the Sheriffe of such next County of the Tyme and Place where they will be ; at which Tyme and Place they are to Deliver such Persons as aforesaid by Indenture to the said next Sheriffe , who is forthwith to Receive , and in like-manner to Convey them , to the Sheriffe of the next County , towards the said River , and so from Sherriffe to Sherriffe , until they are Removed , from all Places under their Majestys Obedience . And We hereby Command all Mayors , Sherriffes , Justices of the Peace and other Magistrates Whatsoever , that thay See this our Proclamation Executed with Care , speed and Diligence . desiring all their Majestys Millitary Officers to be assisting therein . And farther We Require the said Mayors , Sherriffes and other Officers as aforesaid that they take Care that such of the said Persons ( as are not able to provide for themselves ) be Furnished with necessary Provision for their maintaynance as they pass through the several Countyes and that they receive no Injury but be permitted to cary with them so much of their Goods and Chattels as shall be necessary for their Subsistance in their Journy .
